Dance

Dancing is a fantastic way for children to develop their posture, flexibility, strength,
fitness and most of all, their confidence. A love of dance developed at a young age is
a gift which stays with you for life.
Allegro Dance is a member of the Australian Theatrical Dance Association, and
students can undertake examinations in classical ballet, tap and jazz.
All students participate in the end of year concert held late November / early December, a chance to dress up in great
costumes and have fun performing for family and friends.
For the serious student, there are opportunities to do solos, duos or trios in
competitions held in Perth and Mandurah during school holidays.
But there is no pressure! Exams and competitions are optional.
To start with, students do not require studio uniforms or dance shoes. Come along to class, try it out and then we can go from there!
It would be appreciated if you contact us before attending a session with a friend to ensure that you are coming to the most suitable class, and that there are still vacancies in that group. We do not want to upset your child/children if we need to decline them from participating in a class once you have brought them to the studio.
